Ellen MacNevin was born and raised in Vancouver, BC, Canada. When she was five, her parents enrolled her in several Arts Umbrella courses, including acting, where they put on an original play in which Ellen was a turtle.
Her most memorable theatre roles were Mary Tilford, the manipulative, lying child from The Children's Hour, as well as Louise in the post-apocalyptic two man show After the End.
Ellen's first TV appearance was in Season 8 of Supernatural, where she realized how very short she is in comparison to Jared Padalecki.
Ellen also had the lead role in the horror film Suspension which played at festivals around the world. Ellen recently appeared in CTV's Motive and she's in the upcoming shorts; Stagnant, Winter Delirium, Softcore, and 20 Seconds.
Ellen greatly enjoys singing, and has been studying with Alida Annicchiarico since early 2013. She has recently taken up Parkour and has a great collection of scrapes and bruises to show for it. She also performs improv regularly as part of Instant Theatre Company's Guest Cast, and as a cast member of Hocus Focus, and the Critical Hit Show.
